Testing services

We can test documents on a panel of the general public or lawyers to confirm the document's clarity and legal precision.

Our editors will check your documents for:

  • sentence length
  • line length
  • use of lists
  • good use of white space
  • clarity and size of fonts used
  • layout
  • correct grammar
  • correct spelling
  • correct punctuation
  • use of active verbs
  • use of personal references.

The only measure of a document's clarity is whether a document can be read, understood and acted upon on a single reading. In other words, either a document is crystal clear, or it isn't.
