Metropolitan Police

Following their Kick in the Pants award last year for the increasing amount of ‘ploddledygook’ in the police force, we are pleased that they have taken action. Sir Paul Stephenson has presented a proposal to Teresa May in the Home Office to review police bureaucracy and paperwork.

2009

Scottish Police Federation (SPF)

For their unanimous vote at the SPF 2009 Annual Conference to use of plain English throughout the force.
