This award celebrates efforts to communicate clearly The 2011 award goes to the The Scottish Government For revitalising their use of plain English in government communications. Sir Peter Housden, Scottish Government Permanent Secretary, said I am absolutely delighted that the Scottish Government is being recognised at this year’s Plain English Campaign Awards for the quality of our written material. High quality writing is central to our work and this award is testament to colleagues throughout the organisation who strive for continuous improvement.
